As
I type this, I asked John how he felt about having Andrew’s ashes with us until
we die. He said, “That’s fine”. Then I said,
“And let the next generation make
the decision about what to do with his remains?” John said, “No, he is our son,
we need to make the decision and not pass the buck”.
After a minute, he added,
“Maybe our decision will be not to make a decision”. After another pause he
said, “Let’s have him buried with us”. I said, “That sounds good to me”.
Perfect!
